Partner & Family visa

The UK Spouse Visa is specially introduced to non-national individuals who are married to a British or Irish citizen, a person settled in the UK with permeant or holds indefinite leave to remain (IRL) status, a person with pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, a holder of a Turkish Businessperson or Turkish Worker visa, or on refugee status or humanitarian protection in the UK. Spouse applicant can permanently settle in the UK after applying for indefinitely leave to remain for initial five years of continuous residence.

Visit, Transit & Tourist Visa

Visitor Visas: Designed for individuals coming to the UK for a short stay, typically up to 6 months. This includes the Standard Visitor visa for tourism, visiting family, or participating in permitted business activities (e.g., attending conferences or meetings).

Transit Visas: For those passing through the UK to travel to another country.

  • Direct Airside Transit Visa (DATV): Required if you will remain in the airport transit area and not pass through border control.
  • Visitor in Transit Visa: Required if you need to pass through UK border control (e.g., to collect baggage or change airports) and will leave within 48 hours.

General Requirements: Applicants must prove they are genuine visitors, have sufficient funds for their stay, and intend to leave the UK at the end of their visit. They cannot work, study, or access public funds.

Skilled Worker Visa

Overview: The primary route for foreign nationals to work in the UK. It requires a job offer from an employer that is a Home Office-approved sponsor.

Key Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

Student visa

Overview: For individuals aged 16 or over who have been offered a place on a course at a licensed student sponsor institution.

Key Requirements:

  • Unconditional offer of a place on a course.
  • Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from the institution.
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover course fees and living costs.
  • English language proficiency.

Rights: Depending on the level of study, students may be permitted to work part-time during term time and full-time during vacations.

Business visa

Global Business Mobility visa

Overview: A collection of routes for overseas businesses to send workers to the UK for specific purposes.

Primary Routes:

  • Senior or Specialist Worker: For senior managers or specialists being transferred to a UK branch.

Investor Visa

Note: The Tier 1 (Investor) route is closed to new applicants.

Overview: Previously, this route allowed individuals to obtain residency by making a substantial financial investment in the UK.

Current Status: The UK government has shifted its focus to other visa routes (such as the Innovator Founder visa) that emphasize active business involvement, innovation, and scalability rather than passive investment. Resident Return Visa

Returning resident visa is applicable for non-national individuals whose ILR has not established because they stayed outside the UK for more than two consecutive years.
